• External funding opportunities <br />An Administrative draft will be developed for review and feedback from the City. Any <br />comments received will be incorporated to develop a Draft NSEP that will be presented <br />to the three communities in a second round of community meetings for their review and <br />feedback. During this second round of meetings, a variety of alternative enhancement <br />plans will be discussed based on the neighborhoods input received at the first set of <br />meetings (in Task 2). This second round of meetings will be with the three <br />neighborhoods individually. A final, joint community meeting will propose an <br />implementation plan for immediate, near-term, and long-term enhancements and lead to <br />next steps. <br />Community feedback will be incorporated into the Final NSEP. Additional details on our <br />planned Public Meeting Preparation and Community Meeting approach are provided <br />below. <br />• Meeting Preparation <br />o Identify location, date and format for workshops (open house, bike tours, <br />round table discussion, and community conversation) as per Outreach <br />Plan <br />o Prepare graphic pieces for posting on website, City flyers, or mailing with <br />project branding <br />o Coordinate with City to distribute notices <br />o Develop agenda and staff assignments <br />• Community Meeting <br />o Prepare graphic materials/images/presentation to facilitate input and <br />discussion, using base material provided by design team <br />o Prepare interactive materials for community to review and comment on <br />o Meeting support, including nametags, sign -in sheets, set-up, etc. <br />o Facilitate meeting to maximize public engagement <br />o Prepare written summary of meeting <br />Deliverables <br />Draft and Final bilingual meeting notices and content for advertising meetings via <br />social media <br />Outreach meetings (3 individual neighborhood meetings and 1 joint community <br />meeting), meeting summaries <br />Administrative Draft NSEP, Draft NSEP and Final NSEP <br />Task 4— Develop Conceptual Designs <br />Working closely with the City and County staff, Consultant will develop conceptual <br />designs for improvements identified for near-term implementation. We will make <br />necessary field observations, verify constructability, and develop conceptual designs <br />that can be further developed (through a separate contract) into construction documents <br />for formal bidding. We will also provide rough, order of magnitude cost estimates for the <br />conceptual designs.
