The Mayor raised question of balances shown on the March 31st cash report in various bond issue finds. The City Auditor Explained this money represents bond interest and redemption obligations, that there is only $3,000 that can be used toward the reduction of the property tax rate. Councilman Petersen moved that the meeting adjourn, seconded by Councilman Granger. There was further discussion on how to expedite budget study in order. to meet the June 19th public hearing deadline, after which the motion to adjourn carried on roll call vote, Councilmen Henderson, Keckley and Mayor Herkner voting no. Petersen, John S. Rosselli, Mayor Sidney D. Herkner and City Clerk Helen C. Moore. Also noted present were City Manager Howard C. Ullrich, City Attorney Richard E. Gardella, Assistant City Manager Henry V. Burget, Fire Chief J. L. Lodi, Police Chief Wm. Faulstich, Planning Director Ken Schroeter, Director of Public Works J. Louis Scherer, Auditor -Accountant Jack Ference, Chief Building Official Charles Gysel- brecht, Recreation Director A. S. Morton, Park Superintendent Pasco Balzarini, and Deputy City Clerk Marian McCrindle. Councilman Granger moved to approve Minutes of Regular Meeting of May 22, 19675 Minutes of Adjourned Regular Meeting of May 24, 1967, and Minutes of Adjourned Regular Meeting of May 31, 1967, as mailed, seconded by Councilman Keckley. On question, Councilman Henderson stated she had not received copy of Minutes of Adjourned Regular Meeting of May 31st, and moved to omit this set of Minutes from the motion, and to approve the two other meetings as mailed. After further dis- cussion disclosing fact Minutes of Adjourned Regular Meeting of May 31st had not been mailed to Council members, Councilman Rosselli suggested acceptance of the amended motion. Second of motion agreed to accept the amendment. Motion carried, Councilman Granger voting no. On original motion, Councilman Henderson requested that correction be made in Minutes of Council meeting of May 22, 1967, to indicate Councilman Petersen had accompanied Mayor Herkner at dedication ceremonies of Daly City's new City Hall facilities. Motion carried. Mayor Herkner announced Board of Port Commissioners at their meeting of this date had appropriated $37,000 to be contributed to the City's General Fund. He stated he 93 mi 5 '6i
