the Council take a field trip at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, June 2nd to see the work 93 <br />being done on San Antonio Road south of Palo Alto, before they reach a final <br />decision on this subject. <br />The Mayor raised question of balances shown on the March 31st cash report in various <br />bond issue finds. The City Auditor Explained this money represents bond interest <br />and redemption obligations, that there is only $3,000 that can be used toward the <br />reduction of the property tax rate. <br />Councilman Petersen moved that the meeting adjourn, seconded by Councilman Granger. <br />There was further discussion on how to expedite budget study in order. to meet <br />the June 19th public hearing deadline, after which the motion to adjourn carried <br />on roll call vote, Councilmen Henderson, Keckley and Mayor Herkner voting no. <br />Meeting adjourned at 10:22 p.m. <br />i <br />HELEN C. M. <br />Pledge of Allegiance led by Councilman Rosselli. <br />Invocation led by City Clerk in absence of minister. <br />ON ROLL CALL the following were noted present: Councilmen Robert H. Bury, Floyd D. <br />Granger, Mary W. Henderson, Paul C. Keckley, Herbert G. Petersen, John S. <br />Rosselli, Mayor Sidney D. Herkner and City Clerk Helen C. Moore. Also noted <br />present were City Manager Howard C. Ullrich, City Attorney Richard E. Gardella, <br />Assistant City Manager Henry V. Burget, Fire Chief J. L. Lodi, Police Chief Wm. <br />Faulstich, Planning Director Ken Schroeter, Director of Public Works J. Louis <br />Scherer, Auditor -Accountant Jack Ference, Chief Building Official Charles Gysel- <br />brecht, Recreation Director A. S. Morton, Park Superintendent Pasco Balzarini, <br />and Deputy City Clerk Marian McCrindle. <br />Councilman Granger moved to approve Minutes of Regular Meeting of May 22, 19675 <br />Minutes of Adjourned Regular Meeting of May 24, 1967, and Minutes of Adjourned <br />Regular Meeting of May 31, 1967, as mailed, seconded by Councilman Keckley. <br />On question, Councilman Henderson stated she had not received copy of Minutes of <br />Adjourned Regular Meeting of May 31st, and moved to omit this set of Minutes from <br />the motion, and to approve the two other meetings as mailed. After further dis- <br />cussion disclosing fact Minutes of Adjourned Regular Meeting of May 31st had not <br />been mailed to Council members, Councilman Rosselli suggested acceptance of the <br />amended motion. Second of motion agreed to accept the amendment. Motion carried, <br />Councilman Granger voting no. <br />On original motion, Councilman Henderson requested that correction be made in <br />Minutes of Council meeting of May 22, 1967, to indicate Councilman Petersen had <br />accompanied Mayor Herkner at dedication ceremonies of Daly City's new City Hall <br />facilities. Motion carried. <br />Mayor Herkner announced Board of Port Commissioners at their meeting of this date had <br />appropriated $37,000 to be contributed to the City's General Fund.
