125 <br />Councilman Petersen announced that there will be a meeting of the Staff and the <br />Council's Committee with the Dumbarton Fire District's representatives at 7:30 p.m. <br />Friday, June 16th, in the City Manager's office. <br />On motion of Councilman Petersen, seconded by Councilman Rosselli, the meeting <br />was adjourned at 11:18 p.m. <br />HELEN C. M. <br />Pledge of Allegiance led by Counc3han Granger. <br />Invocation led by City Clerk in absence of minister. <br />ON ROLL CALL the following were noted present: Councilmen Robert H. Bury, Floyd D. <br />Granger, Mary W. Henderson, Paul C. Keckley, Herbert G. Petersen, John S. Rosselli <br />and City Clerk Helen C. Moore. Mayor Sidney D. Herkner was noted absent (attending <br />National Conference of Mayor's); Vice -Mayor Robert H. Bury presided. Also noted <br />present were City Manager, Howard C. Ullrich, City Attorney Richard E. Gardella, <br />Assistant City Manager Henry V. Burget, Fire Chief J. L. Lodi, Police Chief William <br />Faulstich, Planning Director Ken Schroeter, Director of Public Works J. Louis <br />Scherer, Auditor -Accountant Jack Ference, Chief Building Official Charles Gysel- <br />brecht, and Deputy City Clerk Marian McCrindle. <br />Councilman Rosselli moved to approve Minutes of Regular Meeting of June 12, 1967, <br />and Minutes of Adjourned Meeting of June 14, 1967 (Community Activities Bldg.) as <br />mailed, seconded by Councilman Petersen and carried. <br />Vice -Mayor Bury announced the item on the Agenda requested by Paul Kelly, repre- <br />senting Redwood City CATV, for an amendment to the CATV Ordinance had been deleted <br />at the applicant's request. <br />PUBLIC HEARING, Proposed Budget for 1967-68 declared open and affidavit of publication <br />ordered filed. Council was advised all changes authorized by Council during their <br />series of Study Meetings had been incorporated in the Budget document being con- <br />sidered at this hearing. Vice -Mayor Bury stated the Council Committee working with <br />Dumbarton Fire Protection District had been requested to report on the conclusion <br />of negotiations for a renewal of contract at this hearing, since it directly affects <br />the budget. <br />Councilman Petersen, Chairman of Committee, reported contract for furnishing fire <br />protection services to this District had been signed at the meeting held on June <br />16th by all representatives involved, with the provision that any time the District <br />Commissioners ask the City to review the formula for computation of charges to the <br />District, the City would review same for the purpose of entering into such appro- <br />priate supplementary agreements as may be mutually agreed upon. <br />There being no communications or oral protest, Councilman Rosselli moved to close <br />the public hearing, seconded by Councilman Petersen and carried. Official Budget <br />was certified by City Manager and City Clerk as submitted, there being no further <br />changes ordered. Council was advised changes hereafter could be made only on Reso- <br />lution or Ordinance by the Council. <br />"is •a <br />
