Motion by Councilman Keckley that Councilmen Bury, Granger, Henderson and Keckley <br />be granted permission to leave the State, seconded by Councilman Petersen and <br />carried. (MINUTE ORDER #67-162) <br />Assistant City Manager asked when joint meeting of Planning Commission as requested <br />by Council, could be set. Mayor Herkner stated City Manager asks that meeting <br />not be set up until a, full Council was able to be present, and due to absences <br />by various members of the Council in the coming month, it should probably be <br />held the first part of September. (Memo 7/25/67) <br />Hotel -Motel Tax Revenue contribution to County. <br />Councilman Keckley reported that from questions asked by County Manager during <br />Committee meetings on another matter, it was evident there was a misunderstanding <br />on the interpretation of City's motion to approve a contribution from our Hotel - <br />Motel tax revenue for participation in County's Tourism & Convention program. <br />He stated specific point of misunderstanding referred to stipulation made by <br />Council concerning percentage of other cities in the County agreeing to partici- <br />pate before City was bound on their commitment. <br />After discussion of intent of Council's motion on interpretation and suggestion <br />this matter be again reviewed by Council, Councilman Granger moved this item be <br />placed on next Council Agenda (Aug. 7th), seconded by Councilman Keckley and <br />carried. (MINUTE ORDER #67-163) <br />Councilman Petersen moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Councilman Henderson <br />and carried. Meeting adjourned at 9:48 p.m. <br />M.
