<br />After further discussion as to efforts made by property owner for
<br />effecting their own weed abatement and consideration of evidence sub-
<br />mitted indicating statements, Councilman Granger moved assessment
<br />charges be cancelled for last two spraying procedures, and assess-
<br />ment confirmed for one spraying procedure only, seconded by Councilman
<br />Keckley and carried on roll call vote, Councilman Petersen voting no.

<br />Council questioned Staff on clarification of protest made by Mr. Beeger
<br />as to description of areas involved. Staff replied two parcels involved,
<br />one of which was only partially abated, the other parcel being located
<br />off of Chestnut Street on which a strip along the street had been abated.
<br />Staff also questioned as to ownership of a creek area in connection with
<br />this claim and was advised Mr. Beeger owned entire creek area.
