Mayor
Herkner read his memorandum in which he had suggested format of regular Monday
evening Council meetings be discussed because it had been suggested the study
meeting period be eliminated and regular legislative meeting be commenced at
7:30 P.M. instead. Proposed amendment to Code
to provide for this suggested change read in full.
Councilman Rosselli moved to introduce Ordinance amending Section 2.20 of the
Code of the City of Redwood City relating to the conduct of meetings of the
Redwood City Council, seconded by Councilman Keckley.
Councilman Rosselli questioned whether Council could call other special meet-
ings and was advised by City Attorney this provision was in the present Ordinance
regulating Council meetings and special meetings could always be called or
changed by order of Mayor or majority of Council.
