PUBLIC HEARING, Application of Coast House Movers on behalf of owner William R. <br />Kastelic, Jr., for permit to move a one story, wood frame, single family <br />dwelling from Lot 14, Block 1, Farm Hill #5, 949 Nob Hill Road, (former Bernard <br />Nobler residence), to Lot 13, Block 206, Emerald Lake #2, 816 Mohican Way, <br />declared open and affidavit of mailing ordered filed. _ <br />Staff report stated required bond had been filed; proposed route approved by <br />Police and Engineering Departments. Report of Building Inspector read in full <br />in which it was recommended house moving be approved subject to following con- <br />ditions: <br />1. The moving route will be from Nob Hill Road to Country Club <br />Drive, to Castle Hill Road, to Brete Harte Drive to Emerald <br />Hill Road, to Seminole Way and to job site at 816 Mohican Way. <br />2. Date & time of moving subject to approval of the Police Dept. <br />3. If required, a sum of $50.00 a day be deposited at the time of <br />moving for special services of city electrician, police escort <br />or other city personnel. <br />4. Site of building to comply to Section 11 (Site cleaning). <br />5. Maximum time of 90 days to complete the restoration from date <br />of approval of the City Council including any conditions set <br />forth by Council action. <br />In addition to the Bond required under Section 10 and in accordance <br />to the plans on file in the Building Department a Faithful Perfor- <br />mance Bond in the amount of $5,000 be required for the completion <br />of this dwelling and attached garage. <br />Approval of the moving of the specially designed fireplace subject <br />to inspection by a licensed masonry contractor prior to issuance <br />of a Certificate of Occupancy. <br />Councilman Bury asked whether two large oak trees could be saved when the <br />house is removed. City Manager stated that it was hoped both trees could be <br />saved. There being no communications or oral protest, Councilman Petersen <br />moved to close the public hearing seconded by Councilman Keckley and carried. <br />Councilman Rosselli moved to approve the Permit for this house moving, subject <br />to the conditions recommended by the Building Department, seconded by Coun- <br />cilman Henderson and carried. (MINUTE ORDER #67-34) <br />PUBLIC HEARING, Application of Birch Property, Inc., for amendment to Article II, <br />Section 11.4 (b), Ordinance No. 1130, relating to conditional uses, in the PO <br />District, declared open and affidavit of publication ordered filed. <br />Report of the Planning Commission was read in which it was stated application <br />was recommended for approval by Commission vote of 4 to 3, after a public <br />hearing, for amendment of Zoning Ordinance, Section 11.4 (b) to read as follows: <br />"Medical and dental clinics and laboratories, including <br />a pharmacy, or other sales or services, provided the sale <br />of articles is limited to drugs, prescription medicines, and <br />furgical and medical supplies, and provided further that _ <br />such activities are conducted entirely within the main <br />building, the design of which building does not invite the <br />use of these services by the general public." <br />Report of the Staff read reviewing former application which was withdrawn and <br />in which it was stated if this amendment is adopted, its effect would be to <br />
