1 0 <br />that he had been requested to attend meeting on January 15th and in order that <br />City's position might be presented it was necessary to ask that Council take a <br />position on the matter at this meeting. <br />After comments by some Council members that insufficient information was avail- <br />able for a review of this matter, Councilman Petersenrmved that the Mayor be <br />directed to request the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors for a continuance <br />of one month to present Council's position in order this matter might be more <br />fully reviewed, seconded by Councilman Granger. Motion lost. <br />Councilman Henderson moved that this matter be discussed at the next week's <br />Council meeting and that the Mayor be authorized to inform the Board of Supervisors <br />and "ad hoc" Committee, City's recommendation will be determined at that time, <br />seconded by Councilman Bury. Councilman Bury felt City should be represented at <br />this meeting on Monday regardless of whether action taken by Redwood City. <br />Motion carried on roll call vote, Councilmen Granger, Rosselli and Mayor Herkner <br />voting no. Mayor Herkner was requested to submit further information on this <br />matter to Council before the next meeting.
