4.4, ICA0 /tcyt�dt l.G�L, DES.ek 4/10/68 <br />fill V—A- � C IAA sgp <br />015'68 <br />R E S O L U T I O N N 0. <br />RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY DECLARING CANVASS OF RETURNS AND RESULT OF <br />GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD ON APRIL % 1968 <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City, by <br />Resolution No. 5617, duly passed and adopted on February 19, <br />1968, designated the precincts and polling places and appointed <br />the members of the precinct boards for the general election to <br />be held in said City of Redwood City on April 9, 1968, as re- <br />l quired by law, for the objects and purposes of (1) electing the <br />t following municipal officers of said City of Redwood City: <br />Four (4) Councilmen for the full term of <br />four (4) years each; <br />(2) submitting to the voters nine charter amendment proposals <br />hereinafter referred to; and <br />WHEREAS, said general municipal election was held on <br />Tuesday, April 9, 1968, in accordance with law, and the votes MR15 a <br />thereat received and canvassed, and the returns thereof ascer- <br />tained, determined and declared in all respects as required <br />by law; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. That the City Clerk of the City of Redwood City be, <br />and is hereby, instructed to enter this resolution on the <br />minutes of this Council as a statement of the result of said <br />election. <br />2. That the whole number of votes cast in said City at <br />said general municipal election was 8313 votes. That 1 <br />ballots were spoiled and not counted. <br />- 1 - <br />
