(a) Said Charter amendment proposal shall be submitted <br />to the electors of the City of Redwood•City at the general <br />municipal election to be held in the City on April 9, 1968, <br />in the form of a proposal to amend said Charter by amending <br />Section 14 thereof. On the ballots and on the voting machines <br />to be used at said general municipal election, in addition to <br />all other matters required by law to be printed thereon, <br />shall appear the following: <br />PROPOSITION H: Shall the Charter of the City <br />of Redwood City be amended by <br />amending Section 14 thereof to provide for the <br />selection of a Vice -Mayor, rather than a <br />Mayor pro -tempore? <br />SECTION 10. The Council of the City of Redwood City <br />hereby proposes, on its own motion, to amend the Charter of <br />the City of Redwood City, by adding Section 14a thereto, <br />to read as follows: <br />v <br />"SECTION 14a. MAYOR'S CONTINGENT FUND: <br />"The Mayor's contingent fund, as established by <br />Section 14 of this Charter, shall be augmented by <br />the amount,of two hundred fifty dollars ($250) a <br />year, to provide a total of five hundred dollars <br />($500) a year for which he need produce no vouchers." <br />(a) Said Charter amendment proposal shall be submitted <br />to the electors of the City of Redwood City at the general <br />municipal election to be held in the City on April 9, 1968, <br />in the form of a proposal to amend said Charter by adding <br />Section 14a thereto.
