<br /> · Park animals <br /> · Existing irrigation system elements (hose bibs or other above-ground extensions) <br /> · Other utilities, facilities or equipment <br /> · Accommodation of events during night irrigation, scheduling (baseball games, <br /> etc) <br /> Task 4.3.2 - Preliminary Construction Cost Estimate and Schedule <br /> A preliminary estimate of probable cost and a construction schedule will be prepared for <br /> each site. This cost estimate will include cost of labor, materials and other construction <br /> costs. <br /> Task 4.4 - Submit Preliminary Retrofit Design to City for Customer Review <br /> A preliminary design submittal will be prepared for each detailed reconnaissance Site. <br /> The submittal will contain a preliminary site plan, preliminary retrofit design drawings, a <br /> preliminary estimate of probable cost, recycled water demand projection, and a <br /> preliminary construction schedule. Two (2) copies copy will be submitted to the City: <br /> one copy for the City's reference file and one copy to be delivered to the Customer for <br /> review. This is considered the preliminary design submittal. It is anticipated that no <br /> significant comments will be received from the customer after submittal of the <br /> preliminary design and no revision or resubmittal of the preliminary design will be <br /> required. <br /> Task 5 - Final Retrofit Design <br /> The engineering labor effort for Final Retrofit Design is estimated to be 41 hours per <br /> customer site. <br /> Task 5.1 - Final Design Drawings <br /> Detailed AutoCAD design drawings will be developed from digitization of existing site <br /> maps, record drawings or aerial photos. The on-site retrofit will indicate the location for <br /> capping of potable lines, new connections to the recycled water systems, necessary <br /> provisions for cross connection control, backflow prevention and separation, location of <br /> signage to comply with State and County Health Departments and construction details. <br /> The limits of work shall include the Customer recycled water meter and box and <br /> continue throughout the irrigation or industrial system as necessary for a complete <br /> retrofit. Work shall include identification and design of any modifications of the existing <br /> on site irrigation or industrial system to bring it into conformance with local and state <br /> standards for recycled water. A typical Final Design Package will consist of four 11 x 17 <br /> inch sized drawings: <br /> .
