. � �� <br /> 1 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 2.111, 2.131 AND 25.6 OF THE <br /> CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING BOARDS AND <br /> COMMISSIONS <br /> THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1. Chapter 2, Article IX, Division 2(Civic Cultural Commission), <br /> Section 2.111 (Terms and Members) of the Redwood City Municipat Code is hereby <br /> amended in its entirety to read as follows: <br /> "Sec. 2.111. TERMS OF MEMBERS: <br /> The term of office of each member of the Civic Cultural Commission shall <br /> be four (4) years, expiring on May 31 of the fourth year; provided, however, that <br /> appointments to the Commission shall be made such that terms shall expire in <br /> even-numbered years. Members shall continue to serve until their respective <br /> successors are appointed and qualified." <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 2, Article IX, Division 4(Senior Affairs Commission), <br /> Section 2.131 (Terms of Office) of the Redwood City Municipal Code is hereby <br /> amended in its entirety to read as follows: <br /> "Sec. 2.131. TERMS OF OFFICE: <br /> The term of office of each member of the Senior Affairs Commission shall <br /> be four (4) years, expiring on May 31 of the fourth year; provided, however, that <br /> appointments to the Commission shall be made such that terms shall expire in <br /> even-numbered years. Members shall continue to serve until their respective <br /> successors are appointed and qualified." <br /> SECTION 3. Chapter 25, Article I, Section 25.6 (Members-Term of Office; <br /> Appointment to Fill Vacancy; Compensation) of the Redwood City Municipal Code is <br /> hereby amended in its entirety to read as follows: <br /> "Sec. 25.6. MEMBERS-TERM OF OFFICE; APPOINTMENT TO FILL <br /> VACANCY; COMPENSATION: <br /> Atty/Ord/Ord.222 <br /> 081704 � <br />
