Community Development Director Pawloski presented the staff report and <br />advised that staff is preparing a report to determine the water needs of the <br />City at build out. <br />Woodside Counilwoman Alexander asked to be notified any time the water <br />system in Emerald Lake Hills is scheduled for discussion and Mayor Greenalch <br />directed the City Clerk to advise Woodside Mayor Stiff and Councilwoman <br />Alexander every time this subject is on the agenda. <br />MINUTE ORDER NO. 90 -008 <br />Doug Finlay, 360 Summit Drive, Redwood City requested Council to only <br />delay efforts to sell the water system until staff finishes report on <br />Redwood City water needs at build out, and suggested that considering the <br />budget deficit faced by the City, selling the ELH water system for one to <br />two million dollars would be in the City's interest. <br />City Manager Smith advised that staff mailed a copy of this current water <br />report last Tuesday to Carole Henley who has been the contact person for the <br />Emerald Lake Hills community. City Manager Smith also advised Council the <br />original estimates for the sale of the ELH system were around nine to ten <br />million dollars not the $1.5 million the PUC valuation formula has <br />suggested, and expenditure of City funds for valuation of the system is not <br />warranted at this time. <br />M /S: Bury /La Berge to direct staff to delay efforts leading to the sale of <br />the Emerald lake Hills water system <br />Carried by unanimous voice vote. <br />8. Adoption of General Plan (201 -01) <br />MINUTE ORDER NO. 90 -009 <br />Report: Planning Director Patterson 1/18/90 <br />Draft General Plan Document <br />Planning Director Patterson presented the staff report, responded to <br />Council questions and advised the revised Housing Element would be brought <br />back for Council consideration in the next few months. <br />Councilman Murray_ addressed the following subjects in the General Plan: <br />a. Editorial corrections to map. <br />b.
