The following residents addressed the Council and asked the Council to help <br />alleviate the problems associated with recurrent f�ooding in the Centennial <br />Neighborhood: <br />Maile Sweeney, 1889 Lenolt, Redwood City <br />Michael Rivas, 159 G Street, Redwood City <br />George McKibbin, 160 F Street, Redwood City <br />Bill Stewart, 218 G Street, Redwood City <br />Council and staff provided background on GID 1 -65 and its relationship to <br />Cordilleras Creek, longstanding flooding problems in 5th Avenue and <br />Centennial Neighborhoods, joint reports and efforts by San Carlos and <br />Redwood City to offer solutions, the enormous cost's of mitigating flood <br />areas, and County responsibilities in this area. <br />CONSENSUS: It was determined by Mayor Greenalch that it was the consensus <br />of the Council to ask staff to research solutions to the problems of <br />flooding in Centennial Neighborhood and bring suggestions back to Council. <br />Reg.
