the event of any. such claims made, or suits filed, City shall give <br />prompt written notice thereof, and City shall have the right to defend <br />or settle the same to the extent of its interest hereunder. <br />b. District shall indemnify and hold harmless City, its officers, <br />agents and employees against any and all claims, causes of action, suits <br />or judgments, for death or injuries to persons, or loss of or damage to <br />property, resulting from the negligent acts of District, its officers, <br />agents, employees or invitees in the performance of this Agreement. In <br />the event of any such claims made, or suits filed, District shall give <br />prompt written notice thereof, and District shall have the right to <br />defend or settle the same to the extent of its interest hereunder. <br />22. Insurance. <br />City and District shall each maintain public liability insurance or <br />self insurance, generally at levels currently in effect for each agency, <br />insuring against all liability of City and District and their authorized <br />representatives arising out of and in connection with City's and <br />District's use of the Sandpiper Joint Use Site. <br />23. Administration of Aareement. <br />City hereby designates the City Manager, or his or her designee, as <br />the representative of the City for administration of this Agreement, and <br />authorizes the City Manager to take any such actions, and execute any <br />such documents, as are necessary to carry out the provisions of this <br />Agreement.
