Implement all cost effective
alterations to the structures' energy system
identified in the audit.

- Install energy saving site lighting fixtures.

- Design streets to include bicycle lanes.

- Implement measures to reduce traffic congestion
(see Traffic Mitigation), including construction
of a bus stop and shelter at an appropriate
location on Marine World Parkway as determined by
SamTrans.

(7) Fire Protection. As the Project will increase the

demand for fire protection, the Project sponsor shall comply

with the energy access requirements of the Fire Code;

install complete sprinkler systems throughout the Project;

and contribute a fair share of the cost of a new Redwood

Shores fire station as set forth in the draft EIR at page

124.

(8) Police. As the Project will increase the need for

police protection, the proj ect sponsor shall require that

each building and grounds have its own 24-hour private

security and will also require that the building management

establish a system for emergency procedures and evacuations

as set forth in the draft EIR at page 125.

5
