"Section 12.20 The City Manager, Chief and the Fire Marshal shall <br />act as a committee to determine and specify, after giving affected <br />persons an opportunity to be heard, any new materials, processes or <br />occupancies, which shall require permits, in addition to those now <br />enumerated in the Fire Code. <br />"Section 12.21 <br />(a) Any person, firm or corporation whether as <br />principal, agent, employee, or otherwise, who shall violate or cause the <br />violation of any of the provisions of the Fire Code adopted by Section <br />12.7 and as amended by this article, or fail to comply with any order, <br />license, or permit made or issued thereunder, or who shall build in <br />violation of any detailed statement of specifications or plans submitted <br />and approved thereunder and from which no appeal has been taken, or who <br />shall fail to comply with such an order, license, or permit as affirmed <br />or modified by the Council or by a Court of competent jurisdiction within <br />the time fixed therein, shall severally, for each and every such <br />violation and noncompliance respectively, be guilty of an infraction and, <br />upon conviction thereof, shall be punishable by: <br />"'(1) A fine not exceeding Fifty Dollars ($50.00) for a first <br />violation; <br />"(2) A fine not exceeding One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for a <br />second violation of the same provision within one (1) <br />year; <br />111(3) A fine not exceeding Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00) <br />for each additional violation of the same provision <br />within one (1) year. <br />-21- <br />
