<br />The applicant shall file with the Chief a bond issued <br />by an authorized surety company to be approved by the <br />City, conditioned upon the applicant's payment in an <br />amount approved by the City (and in no event less than <br />that required by State law) of all damages to persons or <br />property, including loss of life and loss of use of <br />property, which shall or may result from or be caused by <br />the proposed supervised public display of fireworks, or <br />any negligence on the part of the applicant, or the <br />applicant's agents, servants, employees, or subcontractors <br />in the presentation thereof, or a certificate evidencing <br />the carrying of appropriate public liability insurance <br />for the benefit of the applicant and the applicant's agents, <br />servants, employees and subcontractors, as evidence of <br />ability to respond in damages in at least such amount, <br />said insurance likewise to be approved by the City. <br />" · (f) Any fireworks that remain unfired after the <br />supervised public display is concluded shall be immediately <br />disposed of in a way safe for the particular type of <br />fireworks remaining. <br />"'Section 12.104 ( a) It shall be unlawful for any <br />person (including associations, corporations, clubs or <br />other organizations) to possess, store, offer for sale, <br />expose for sale, or sell at wholesale or retail any fire- <br />works except pursuant to a temporary fireworks sales permit <br />issued hereunder by the Chief. <br />" , (b) The Chief shall have the authority to adopt <br />reasonable rules and regulations for the granting of <br />temporary fireworks sales permits, and such permits shall <br /> -8- <br /> -- <br />
