<br />include such reasonable conditions and requirements <br />as, in the opinion of the Chief, are necessary or <br />proper to eliminate hazard to property or danger to <br />any person. <br /> " , (c) Temporary fireworks sales permits shall <br />permit only the sale of 'safe and sane' fireworks (as <br />that term is defined in §12504 of the Health and Safety <br />Code of the State of California) . Such permits permitting <br />sales at retail shall permit such sales only during the <br />period which such fireworks may be sold or offered for <br />sale at retail pursuant to Section 12703 of the Health <br />and Safety Code of the State of California. <br /> " , (d) The person applying for a temporary fireworks <br />sales permit shall, at the time of application, submit <br />for inspection the applicant's license issued by the State <br />Fire Marshal, and (if applicable) furnish proof of coverage <br />of such compensation insurance as is required by the State <br />of California for any employees of the applicant. The <br />applicant shall file with the Chief a bond issued by an <br />authorized surety company to be approved by the City, <br />conditioned upon the applicant's payment, in at least the <br />minimum amounts hereinafter set forth, of all damages to <br />persons or,property, including loss of life and loss of use <br />of property, which shall or may result from or be caused <br />by the operation proposed to be permitted, or any negligence <br />on the part of the applicant, or the applicant's agents, <br />servants, or employees in conducting such operation, or <br />a certificate evidencing the carrying of appropriate public <br /> -9- <br /> , --.." <br />
