<br />of such construction and maintenance are the following: <br /> " (a) Open spaces not wider than one-fourth <br /> (1/4) inch around doors and windows to <br /> prevent the passage of rodents. <br /> " (b) Exterior openings of buildings or <br /> structures, such as louvre vents and <br /> ventilation systems, covered with <br /> corrosion resistant wire mesh, the area <br /> of each opening of which is no more than <br /> one-fourth (1/4) of one (1) square inch. <br /> "Section 13.166. Structures Containing Food for <br />Human or Animal Consumption. All commercial or industrial <br />buildings, structures or portions thereof which are used <br />for the manufacture, preparation, storage, handling, sale <br />or display of any food or food products for human or animal <br />consumption shall be of rodent-proof construction. The <br />Health Officer shall determine if such rodent-proofing <br />is adequate to prevent rodent infestation and if rodent <br />infestation exists or is likely to occur. <br /> ARTICLE VIII. PRIVATE SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEMS <br /> "Section 13.170. Conformity with Standards. No <br />septic tank, cesspool, seepage pit, drainage field, leaching <br />system or any other private sewage disposal system or <br />structure therefor shall be erected, constructed, installed <br />or maintained for use unless it conforms with rules and <br />regulations relating thereto issued by the Health Officer. <br /> "Section 13.171. Locations. (a) No spetic tank <br />shall be located within five feet (5' ) of any building used <br />as a dwelling, within ten feet (10' ) of any property line, <br />within fifty feet (50' ) of any well or twenty feet (20' ) <br />of the top of the bank of a stream or twenty-five feet <br />(25' ) of a swimming pool. <br /> -31- <br /> ~,-~.. <br />
