$50,001.00 to $100,000.00 $283.00 for the first $50,000.00 plus $3.00 for each additional $1,000.00 or fraction thereof, to and including $100,000.00 $100,001.00 and up $433.00 for the first $100,000.00 plus $2.50 for each additional $1,000.00 or fraction thereof '" (b) When plans and specifications or other data are required to be submitted pursuant to subsection (c) of Section 301, a plan review fee shall be paid at the time of such submission. The plan review fee shall be charged at the rate of 65 percent of the building permit fee set forth in Table No. 3-A. " 'Where such plans, specifications, or data are incomplete or changed so as to require additional plan review, an additional plan review fee shall be charged at a rate established by the Building Official. '" (c) Applications for which no permit is issued within 180 days following the date of application shall expire by limitation and plans, specifications or data submitted for checking may thereafter be returned to the applicant or destroyed by the Building Official. The Building Official may extend the time for action by the applicant for a period not exceeding 180 days upon written request by the applicant' showing that circumstances beyond the control of the applicant have prevented action from being taken. In order to renew action on an application after expiration, the applicant shall resubmit plans and pay a new plan review fee. '" (d) In addition to the permit fees prescribed by subsections (a) and (b) above, a Strong Motion Instrumen- tation Fee shall be paid to the Building Official in the amount of 50¢ or .00007 (seven one hundred thousandths) times the Building Permit valuation, whichever is greater. In calculating this fee, valuation is computed to the next highest $1,000.00 increment of the valuation as determined by the Building Official. '" (e) In addition to the fees prescribed by subsèctions (a) , (b) and (d) above, fees shall be paid to the Building Official for the microfilming of plans and records, and for Building Department services relating to enforcement of State of California regulations pertaining to energy conservation and noise insulation standards (residential and non-residential as defined by State statute) . These fees shall be computed in accordance with the following schedule: "'Plans and Records Microfilming: 5% of the basic permit fee ( subsection (a) ) .
