CHARTER AMENDMENT PROPOSITION NO. 10 <br />Section 76 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City is <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br />"Section 76. CITIZENSHIP AND RESIDENCE: <br />All officers and employees of the city and every <br />department thereof, except those employed for limited, <br />temporary, seasonal, or special purposes, shall be <br />citizens of the United States at the time of their <br />appointment and shall, within six (6) months following <br />such appointment, establish and maintain their residence <br />within the city throughout the period of their incumbency." <br />Said Charter Amendment Proposition No. 10 shall be submitted <br />to the electors in the form of a proposition printed on the ballot <br />at said general municipal election as follows: <br />"CHARTER AMENDMENT PROPOSITION NO. 10 <br />Shall Charter Amendment Proposition No. 10 <br />amending Section 76 of the Charter of the City of <br />Redwood City to provide that all officers and employees <br />of the city, except those employed for temporary or <br />special purposes, must establish and maintain their <br />residence within the city within six months following <br />their appointment, be approved? <br />YES [� <br />NO " <br />Section 2. Each voter to vote for any of the charter <br />amendments submitted by this resolution shall stamp a cross (X) <br />in the blank space opposite the word "YES" on the ballot to the <br />right of said charter amendment proposition, and to vote against <br />any of the charter amendment propositions submitted by this <br />resolution shall stamp a cross (X) in the blank space opposite <br />- 16 - <br />
