section or sections to be added thereto, shall be set <br />forth and adopted according to the method provided in <br />this section for the enactment of ordinances, and such <br />revision, re-enactment, amendment or addition, shall be <br />done by ordinance only. <br />All ordinances shall be signed by the Mayor and <br />attested by and filed with the City Clerk; provided, <br />however, the Mayor may sign all ordinances and other <br />legal instruments and documents by facsimile signature." <br />Said Charter Amendment Proposition No. 4 shall be submitted <br />to the electors in the form of a proposition printed on the ballot <br />at said general municipal election as follows: <br />"CHARTER 96ENDMENT PROPOSITION NO. 4 <br />Shall Charter Amendment Proposition No. 4 <br />amending Section 15 of the Charter of the City of <br />Redwood City to require legislative action by ordinance <br />for appropriation of any public money in excess of <br />two thousand dollars (2,000), to provide for the <br />facsimile signature of the Mayor on ordinances and <br />other legal documents, to designate the legislative <br />actions which must be accomplished by ordinance and <br />those which may be accomplished by resolution, and to <br />provide that the Council shall be governed by the <br />general laws of the State regarding the enactment of <br />city ordinances which adopt additional identified <br />matter by reference, be approved? <br />YES <br />n <br />NO L� <br />- 9 - <br />
