Theresa Wallace, LSA Associates, Inc. <br />April 20, 2017 <br />Page 4 of 5 <br />measures for significant impacts and discuss feasibility and implementation factors with City Staff <br />for comment and concurrence prior to completing the study. <br />Task 6 – Site Plan Review <br />A site access and circulation assessment will be conducted for vehicles, bicycles, and pedestrians <br />around the Project and Project Variant site and on the adjacent roadways. To the extent adequate <br />detail can be provided, we will review the site plan for: <br /> Site access and interface with roadway network including corner sight distances and a <br />review of driveway spacing <br /> Emergency vehicle access and circulation <br /> Vehicular circulation and roadway sizing within the site <br /> Pedestrian access and circulation within and adjacent to the site <br /> Bicycle access and circulation within and adjacent to the site <br /> Transit access adjacent to the site <br /> Pedestrian access to and from transit stops <br /> Parking supply in comparison to City Code requirements and ITE parking demand to satisfy <br />the CEQA requirements for the parking analysis <br /> Review the design for any new public streets for consistency with adopted City’s plans and <br />policies, including truck turning templates for the driveways to Maple Street and the new <br />Maple Street extension <br />Task 7 – Documentation <br />Fehr & Peers will prepare two separate deliverables (1) an interim technical memorandum <br />documenting the trip generation, distribution, and assignment for the Project, Project Variant, and <br />cumulative land use assumptions, and (2) the transportation section of the 1548 Maple Street <br />Development DEIR. These are described below. <br />Task 7.1 – Technical Memorandum <br />We will prepare a technical memorandum documenting the findings of Task 3 for the City’s review <br />and approval. Upon receiving approval of this memorandum, we will prepare the traffic impact <br />analysis described in Tasks 4 and 5. <br />Task 7.2 – DEIR Transportation Section <br />The DEIR transportation section will summarize the results and findings of the previous tasks. <br />Appendices will include traffic counts, level of service calculations, a list of approved development, <br />assumptions regarding planned developments, plus other relevant information. We will submit the <br />administrative draft section to LSA Associates for review. We will incorporate responses to one set <br />of consolidated comments from LSA into a second administrative draft section of the EIR for <br />submittal to the City. We will then incorporate one set of cons olidated comments from the City into <br />a final draft EIR section. Fehr & Peers has budgeted 32 hours to revise the draft report into a final <br />document and 16 hours to respond to public comments.
