<br /> EXHIBIT "A" <br /> DRAFT <br /> Mr. Charles Riggs <br /> 1001 Marshall Street <br /> Redwood City, CA 94063 <br /> Re: Woodside Terrace Kiwanis Club Carnival <br /> Dear Mr. Riggs, <br /> The City Council on UUUA has authorized me to issue this letter permitting the <br /> Woodside Terrace Kiwanis Club, through Butler Amusements, to conduct a <br /> Carnival in downtown Redwood City, subject to and in accordance with the terms <br /> and conditions herein. <br /> The permission herein granted is to the Woodside Kiwanis, (hereinafter for <br /> convenience, called "Permittee"), through Butler Amusements by the City of <br /> Redwood City (hereinafter called the "City"). This permit is subject to the <br /> following terms and conditions: <br /> 1. Carnival. The Carnival shall be sponsored and conducted by Permittee. <br /> The sale of alcoholic beverages shall be prohibited. <br /> 2. Revocation. This permit may be revoked at any time without cause by the <br /> City of Redwood City. <br /> 3. Non-transferability. This permit is non-transferable. <br /> 4. Location. The City shall order the necessary temporary parking lot <br /> closures of the City owned municipal lot at Jefferson and Middlefield (refer <br /> to attached map) and provide barricades, but Permittee shall be <br /> responsible for placing the barricades.
