blood work and heart testing to identify undiagnosed risk factors that can be further <br />assessed by his/her primary care physician as provided through existing employee <br />health care program. A second consultant would include an additional blood panel to <br />measure employee progress in target areas as prescribed during the initial consultation, <br />and would inform the employee on next steps. A clear plan will be outlined and <br />conveyed to the employee to reach the desired goals. <br /> <br />The Cabin Road Foundation is not seeking a grant agreement, matching funds or grant <br />reporting. <br /> <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />The City Council may choose not to accept this grant funding. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />If the grant is accepted, the Fiscal Year 2017-18 budget will increase by $100,000. Staff <br />anticipate using funds over a three year period to provide the recommended wellness <br />program for police officers.
