Mayor Greenalch advised that on May 18, 1989 he and City Manager Jim Smith <br />attended meeting in Millbrae of mayors and city managers of San Mateo <br />County and discussed an exposition hall at the San Mateo County Fairgrounds. <br />A joint commission was established and Mayor Greenalch was appointed <br />chairman.
