The proposed project has been designed to blend in with the surrounding <br />community and would also be consistent with General Plan Policy BE-1.8. In addition, the proposed <br />project is consistent with General Plan Policy BE-2.1 because it would introduce a new elementary <br />school to the neighborhood. <br /> <br />Although the proposed project would require Conditional Use Permits to allow the school and <br />playground uses, the proposed project would not substantially conflict with the intent of the City’s <br />General Plan, the County General Plan and applicable Redwood City and San Mateo County zoning <br />regulations. Therefore, the proposed project would not conflict with any land use plan, policy, or <br />regulation adopted for the purpose of avoiding or mitigating an environmental effect and this impact <br />would be less than significant. <br /> <br />c) Conflict with any applicable habitat conservation plan or natural community conservation plan? <br />(No Impact) <br /> <br />Please refer to Section IV.f. There are no known mineral resources <br />within the City of Redwood City, or in the vicinity of the project site.
