"(5) Enclosed portions of buildings, including enclosed <br />porches, stairways, landing places, or balconies, <br />covering in aggregate not more than one-third of <br />each side of the maximum buildable area of the <br />lot may extend into any required yard up to the <br />basic minimum yard depth or width, provided that <br />the horizontal distance to the respective lot <br />line which it faces of any point on any building <br />face shall not be less than one-fourth its <br />height above such lot line. <br />"(6) Architectural features, such as cornices, eaves, <br />canopies, fireplaces and unenclosed portions of <br />buildings, including unenclosed porches, stairways, <br />landing places or balconies, may extend into an <br />interior side yard or rear yard, provided that <br />the horizontal distance to the respective lot line <br />which it faces of any point on such architectural <br />features or unenclosed portions of a building <br />shall not be less than one-third its height above <br />such lot line; but such architectural features or <br />unenclosed portions of a building may only extend <br />into a required front yard or side yard adjacent <br />to a street to a maximum of three feet. <br />"(b) As used in this section, the following definitions <br />shall apply: <br />"(1) Horizontal distance to the lot line: The distance <br />from any point on a building face or architectural <br />feature measured along a horizontal line to the <br />point of its intersection with a vertical line <br />extended from a point on the lot line which such <br />building face or architectural feature faces so <br />as to intersect at right angles with such <br />horizontal line. <br />"(2) Height above the lot line: The distance between <br />the point of intersection and the point on the <br />lot line measured along the vertical line as <br />described in (1) above." <br />SECTION 9. Section 32.11 of the above mentioned Ordinance <br />No. 1130, as amended by Ordinance No. 1130.130, adopted April 26, <br />1971, is hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 10. Section 32.12 of the above mentioned Ordinance <br />No. 1130, as amended by Ordinance No. 1130.130, adopted April 26, <br />1971, is hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 11. Section 32.13 of the above mentioned Ordinance <br />No. 1130, as amended by ordinance No. 1130.130, adopted April 26, <br />1971, is hereby repealed. <br />
