<br /> DES:dft , 1/95 (014/67) <br /> OR' (' ¡ I\¡!\. \ <br /> , hJd~i\!.. <br /> A G R E E MEN T <br /> --------- <br /> REDWOOD CITY ART CENTER <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ðct'í day of <br /> ~~ , 1995, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, a municipal corporation of the State of California <br />("City") , and 'the REDWOOD CITY ART CENTER, a non-profit <br />corporation of the State of California ( " Art Center" ) and LCL <br />ASSOCIATES, INC. ("Owner") , jointly and severally; <br /> WIT N E SSE T H: <br /> WHEREAS, Art Center promotes the visual arts and cultural <br />activities in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to agreement dated January 23, 1995, by <br />and between the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City <br />and Art Center (the "Agency Agreement"), Art Center has received <br />a grant from said Agency for improvements to a building located <br />at 2625 Broadway, within the downtown subarea of Redevelopment <br />Project No. 2 (the "Property"; also designated by Assessor's <br />Parcel No. ( " APN" ) 052-322-100} ; and <br /> WHEREAS, Owner owns the Property; and <br /> WHEREAS, Art Center has requested a supplemental grant from <br />City to provide additional improvements at said Property in <br />furtherance of Art Center's activities; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows: <br /> 1. GRANT; PURPOSE. City hereby grants to Art Center a sum <br />not to exceed Four Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($4,500) to <br />supplement that grant heretofore made under the Agency Agreement, <br />which sum shall be used as a credit to defray the costs of <br />providing a fire service water connection to the Property.
