DES:dft 3/95 (014/67) parties acknowledge and agree that said connection pertains to the installation and construction of a fire service water line from City's water main located in Winklebleck Street to the Property. 2. PURPOSE. The parties acknowledge that the grant made pursuant to paragraph 1 is made by City for the purpose of advancing art and cultural activities in the City of Redwood City. Therefore, Art Center covenants and agrees that, as a condition of the grant made hereby, it shall carry out those activities at the Property more specifically described under the heading "Programmatic Agreement" in Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. Art Center and City further acknowledge that the activities described in Exhibit A are identical to those set forth in Exhibit "c" of the Agency Agreement and that the grant made hereunder shall supplement that grant made under the Agency Agreement. 3. REIMBURSEMENT OF GRANT. Owner acknowledges that Art Center's use of the grant made hereunder benefits Owner's Property, but that the public purpose advanced by said grant pertains to the use of the Property by Art Center. Therefore, Owner agrees that Owner shall reimburse City for said improvements in the full amount thereof upon whichever of the following events sooner occurs: (i) expiration of the period of eight (8) years from the date hereof, to wi t : _r~~O gl"\\ , 2003; or ( ii) cessation of use of the Property by Art Center or any other non-profit corporation of the State of California which performs the activities described in Exhibit A. 2 ,- '1"'-""'" >................,--..-..
