6.1.G. - Page 5 <br />1.1 Responsibility for the Services. Contractor is responsible for supervising <br />and directing all aspects of the Services to facilitate the efficient and timely completion of <br />the Services. Contractor is solely responsible for, and required to exercise full control over <br />the means, methods, techniques, sequences, procedures, and coordination of all portions <br />of the Services with that of all other Contractors and subcontractors, except to the extent <br />that the Contract Documents provide other specific instructions. The use of any <br />subcontractor by Contractor shall be subject to the written approval of the City Manager <br />or her/his designee. <br />1.2 Proiect Administration. Contractor shall provide sufficient and competent <br />administration, staff, and skilled workforce necessary to perform and timely complete the <br />Services in accordance with the Contract Documents (as defined below). Before starting <br />the Services, Contractor shall designate in writing and provide complete contact <br />information, including phone numbers and email address, for the officer or employee in <br />Contractor's organization who is to serve as Contractor's primary representative for the <br />Project, and who has authority to act on Contractor's behalf. A subcontractor may not <br />serve as Contractor's primary representative. <br />1.3 On -Site Superintendent. Contractor shall, at all times during performance <br />of the Services, provide a qualified and competent full-time superintendent, acceptable to <br />City, and assistants, as necessary, who shall be physically present at the Project site <br />while any aspect of the Services is being performed at the site. Failure to comply may <br />result in temporary suspension of the Services, at Contractor's sole expense and with no <br />extension of Contract Time, until the superintendent is physically present to supervise the <br />Services. Contractor shall provide written notice to City, as soon as practicable, before <br />replacing the superintendent. <br />1.4 Standards and Compliance. Contractor shall, at all times, ensure that the <br />Services are performed in a good workmanlike manner following best practices and in full <br />compliance with the Contract Documents and all applicable laws, regulations, codes, <br />standards, and permits. <br />1.5 Responsible Partv. Contractor is solely responsible to City for the acts or <br />omissions of any party or parties performing portions of the Services or providing <br />equipment, materials or services for or on behalf of Contractor or its Subcontractors. <br />1.6 Correction of Defects. Contractor shall promptly correct, at Contractor's <br />sole expense, any Service that is determined by City to be deficient or defective in <br />workmanship, materials, and equipment. <br />1.7 Contractor's Records. Contractor shall maintain all of its records relating to <br />the Project in any form, including paper documents, photos, videos and electronic <br />records.
