Budgeted costs increased from
$133,434 in FY 2016-17 to $137,971 for FY 2017-18.
The SVCW Commission reviewed the proposed terms and authorized its General
Manager to enter into the recommended amendment at the July 13, 2017 meeting.
ALTERNATIVES
The City Council may elect not to amend the agreement to provide services to SVCW.
Doing so would reduce anticipated City revenues in the Administrative Services
Department in FY 2017-18 by approximately $137,971. It should be noted that as the
majority member of the SVCW Joint Powers Authority, Redwood City has an interest in
SVCW having effective financial and technology support services.
FISCAL IMPACT
The continued agreement with SVCW will result in approximately $137,971 in revenue
in FY 2017-18, which represents an increase of $4,537, or 3.4 percent, over FY 2016-
17.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
This activity is not a project under CEQA as defined in CEQA Guidelines, section
15378, because it has no potential for resulting in either a direct or foreseeable physical
change in the environment.
KIMBRA MCCARTHY
ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES
MELISSA STEVENSON DIAZ
CITY MANAGER
ATTACHMENTS
1.
