<br /> .. <br /> implement coordination and communication procedures among the <br /> Project Manager, City/District, Design Professional and Contractors. <br />5.1.2 Construction Administration Procedures: The Project Manager shall <br /> establish and implement procedures for expediting and processing <br /> requests for information, shop drawings, material and equipment <br /> sample submittals, contract schedule adjustments, change orders, <br /> substitutes and payment requests and the maintenance of Logs for <br /> tracking all relevant information related to the above. The Project <br /> Manager shall maintain daily job reports. As the City/District's <br /> representative at the construction site, if provided for in the <br /> Construction Phase Procedures approved by the City/District, the <br /> Project Manager shall be the party to whom requests for <br /> information, submittals, Contractor schedule adjustments, <br /> substitutes, change order requests and payment applications shall <br /> be submitted. <br />5.1.3 Project Site Meetinas: Periodically the Project Manager shall <br /> conduct coordination meetings at the Project site with each <br /> Contractor, the City/District and the Design Professional, (if provided <br /> for in the Agreement between the City/District and the Design <br /> Professional). The Project Manager shall record, transcribe and <br /> distribute minutes to all attendees, the City/District and Design <br /> Professional. <br />5.1.4 Coordination of Other Independent Consultants: Technical <br /> inspection and testing provided by the Design Professional or others <br /> shall be coordinated by the Project Manager. The Project Manager <br /> shall be provided a copy of all inspection and testing reports on the <br /> day of the inspection or test or within a reasonable time period. The <br /> Project Manager is not responsible for providing, nor does the <br /> Project Manager control, the actual performance of technical <br /> inspection and testing. The Project Manager is performing a <br /> coordination function and is not acting in a·manner so as to assume <br /> responsibility or liability, in whole or in part, for any part of such <br /> inspection and testing. <br />5.1.5 Review of Reauests for Chanaes to the Contract Time and Price: <br /> The Project Manager shall review the contents of requests for <br /> changes to the contract time or price submitted by a Contractor, <br /> assemble information concerning the request and endeavor to <br /> determine the cause of the requests and make recommendations to <br /> the City/District with respect to acceptance of the requests.
