(Staff had large map outlining residential areas set up in the lobby <br />and was available to answer any questions.) <br />Council /Agency recessed from 8:20 p.m. to 8:26 p.m. <br />--------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />Agency Counsel James Hildebrand presented the Statement of Findings for <br />adoption of the Redevelopment Plan described in Joint Public Hearing on <br />Proposed Second Amendment Document Binder, and the 20 Amendments contained in <br />the Second Amendment to the Plan. <br />City Manager Smith provided background information on the evolution of the <br />Redevelopment Projects in Redwood City, describing the four sub -areas of the <br />1982 Redevelopment Plan, Gateway, City Center, Marina, and Seaport; and <br />described the Redevelopment Plan as a tool for long -term cultural and social <br />development. <br />Martha Nessel Packer of consultant firm Katz, Hollis, Coren & Associates, Inc. <br />presented the Report to Council which provided information, documentation and <br />evidence required by Sections 33352 and 33457.1 of the Community Redevelopment <br />Law. <br />Redevelopment Agency Executive Director Church advised if there were no <br />objections, the proposed Second Amendment, the Final EIR, the Owner <br />Participation and Preferences Rules, and the Report of the Agency would be <br />made a part of the record, along with the testimony received.
