TASK 4-75%DESIGN SUBMITTAL <br />This 75% Design Submittal will be used as the basis for the development of <br />the Final Design. The tasks include, but are not limited to the following: <br />1. Consultant shall develop 75% Design Submittal which shall include, but not <br />limited to, incorporation of the listed scope of improvements for both P.S. No 18 <br />and P.S. No 20; demolition plan, site grading, general and construction notes, <br />pipe connection details, construction details and sections, technical <br />specifications, possible staging areas, and estimate of construction costs. The <br />design calculations and analysis should include all engineering calculations, <br />any miscellaneous technical data, maintenance considerations and catalogue <br />cuts for any special equipment. <br />2. Consultant shall review existing pump station background information. Conduct <br />site visit to the pump station site to assess the condition and provide <br />recommendation for mitigation of wet well liner. <br />3. Consultant shall contact utilities agencies and coordinate relocation, if <br />necessary. Show utilities on drawings. <br />4. Consultant shall evaluate whether existing PG&E service is adequate for the <br />improvements. If not, coordinate with PG&E for installation of new electrical <br />service. Submit documents for service application, if needed. <br />5. Consultant shall coordinate with City's SCADA consultant, The EDCCO <br />Group, for the design of the RTU/PLC unit and control system programming. <br />6. Consultant shall coordinate with Bay Area Air Quality Management District <br />(BAAQMD) regarding new generator permit requirements. <br />7. Consultant shall coordinate with any other permitting agencies regarding <br />permitting requirements. <br />8. Consultant shall prepare for review by City the 75% Design Submittal <br />consisting of complete construction drawings consisting of plan views, <br />profiles, cross-sections, construction notes, detailing of major components, <br />utility connection points, specification outline, construction cost estimates, <br />construction schedule and other documents, including but not limited to, <br />details, catalogue cuts, product literature for all products, and engineering <br />calculations. <br />Deliverables: <br />• P.S. No. 18 and P.S. No. 20 Set(s) — Four (4) hard copy sets of the seventy- <br />five percent (75%) plans (24"x36" plan sheets), one (1) hard copy of both the <br />specifications and Engineer's Estimate plus electronic copies (AutoCAD, PDF, <br />Word, Excel, etc.) shall be submitted and presented by the Consultant to the <br />City for review. The City will provide the City's standard title block. A marked <br />set will be returned along with City staffs comments and/or request for <br />clarifications to the Consultant for revision. <br />• One meeting shall be scheduled with City staff after review of the 75% <br />submittal prior to proceeding with the 95% Design Submittal. <br />ATTY/AGR/2017.149/HYDROSCIENCE ENGINEERS, INC. <br />REV: 06-30-17 PR <br />Page 14 of 20 <br />
