<br />Bereavement Leave. Contract Employee may be absent with pay <br />because of a death in Contract Employee's immediate family for a <br />maximum of three (3) consecutive work days, or four (4) such days <br />if travel over 300 miles is required for such purpose, which leave <br />shall be available upon commencement of employment. <br />Sick Leave. Contract employee shall accrue sick leave at the rate <br />of one (1) day per month; provided, that such accrual shall be on <br />an annual basis, for a maximum of twelve (12) days in any year of <br />employment. <br />Vacation Leave. Contract Employee shall accrue two (2) weeks <br />vacation leave, prorated on a monthly basis. Contract Employee <br />shall be credited with vacation leave for the initial year of <br />employment upon commencement of employment; provided, that <br />Contract Employee shall not accrue any additional vacation leave <br />during said initial year. Upon completion of five (5) years of <br />continuous employment with C/CAG, Contract Employee shall <br />accrue vacation leave in the amount of three (3) weeks per annum, <br />prorated on a monthly basis. <br />Additional Benefits. Except as provided to the contrary <br />hereinabove, Contract Employee shall be entitled to participate as <br />a member in the Public Employees Retirement System ("PERSØ), <br />the City's "Cafeteria Benefits Plan" provided by PERS, vision care, <br />4 <br />-..... .. <br />
