<br /> E. Provide for Administrative Reviews. <br /> l. Letters submitted by individuals stating reasons for contesting a notice of <br /> parking violation will be reviewed by the VENDOR. <br /> 2. F or reasons stated that need to be checked out, such as broken meters, no <br /> signs posted, handicapped space not properly marked, or other similar <br /> reasons, the VENDOR will contact the CITY to verify whether or not the <br /> condition existed at the time the notice of illegal parking existed. <br /> 3. The VENDOR will submit the letter, together with any finding when <br /> applicable, to the clerk. <br /> 4. The CLERK will log the case and refer it to a commissioner for review <br /> and finding. <br /> 5. The CLERK will notify The Vendor of the finding. <br /> 6. The VENDOR will notify the contesting party of the finding. <br /> F. Provide for Administrative Hearings. <br /> l. Any party desiring to have an Administrative Hearing will be required to <br /> deposit the full amount of the parking penalty with the Vendor and submit <br /> a letter stating the reasons for contesting the citation. The letter may <br /> include a request that the matter be handled by mail or by an appearance <br /> before the Administrative Hearing Officer. <br /> ._--_.~ <br /> 2. The VENDOR will send the letter and notice of illegal parking <br /> information to the Clerk. <br /> 3. If the party has requested that the matter be handled by mail, the clerk will <br /> log the case and submit it to the commissioner designated to be the <br /> Administrative Hearing Officer for hislher finding. <br /> a. The COUNTY will notify The Vendor of the finding. <br /> b. The VENDOR will notify the contesting party of the finding <br /> 4. If the party has requested an Administrative Hearing <br /> a. The VENDOR, from a schedule of app~arance dates and times <br /> provided by the COUNTY will assign a date, time and place of <br /> hearing and send a notice to the contesting party. <br /> 7 <br /> . - .-. .....-........... ··r·· <br />
