• Lower Woodside Road in grade to increase the vertical clearance at the US 101 <br />undercrossing from 14.5 feet to 15.0 feet. <br />• Reconstruct ramp connections between Woodside Road and US 101. <br />• Construct direct -connect flyover ramps between northbound US 101 and westbound <br />Veterans Boulevard and between eastbound Veterans Boulevard and southbound US 101. <br />• Eliminate the existing five -legged intersection at Broadway and Woodside Road. <br />• Add sidewalks and bicycle facilities on Woodside Road between Bay Road and Seaport <br />Boulevard/ Blomquist Street/East Bayshore Road. <br />• Replace the existing northbound US 101 ramps with a new slip on-ramp, loop on-ramp, <br />and diagonal off -ramp in a single partial cloverleaf ramp configuration, connecting with <br />Seaport Boulevard at a new signalized intersection. <br />• Realign and replace the existing southbound US 101 ramps with a single wider diamond - <br />configuration off -ramp and new on-ramp connecting with a new signalized intersection. <br />• Add a Class I bikeway on the east side of Woodside Road between Broadway and the <br />Seaport Boulevard/East Bayshore Road/Blomquist Street intersection to the north of US <br />101. <br />• Add other Class I bikeways to the west side of Woodside Road that would connect with <br />Veterans Boulevard (Woodside Road to Chestnut Street). <br />• Add a Class I bikeway along the UPRR right-of-way that would cross under US 101 to <br />Seaport Boulevard. <br />• Include a high -occupancy vehicle (HOV) preferential lane for the northbound and <br />southbound on -ramps. <br />• Include Class 11 and IV bikeways on both sides of Woodside Road between Bay Road <br />and the Seaport Boulevard/East Bayshore RoadBlomquist Street intersection. <br />• Conform to existing bicycle facilities at the Project conform points of existing streets. <br />2.2 Services to be performed by AECOM include: <br />AECOM will develop the final design of the Project for the main construction contract. Services <br />to be performed will include: <br />• Prepare final plans, specifications, quantities, estimates, and reports. <br />• Prepare permit documents required from permitting agencies. Prepare right-of-way <br />certification documents and provide right-of-way support. <br />• Prepare Design Cross Sections, Slope Stake Listings, and Resident Engineer's file in <br />accordance with Caltrans' requirements. <br />• Prepare a construction contract package combining Highways and Structures PS&E <br />documents. <br />• Participate in a Constructability Review and prepare a construction schedule. <br />• Provide coordination of Project design oversight activities with Caltrans Project <br />Development (CTPD) and other Caltrans functional units as required by the CTPD. <br />• Provide coordination of Project activities with stakeholders including the State, County, <br />and the City. <br />• Provide coordination with adjacent projects including the US 101 Managed Lane Project. <br />Page 11 of 73 <br />REV: 07-18-17 PR <br />ATTY/AGR.2017.166/AECOM 101/84 PSBE <br />
