REV: 06-09-22 JB
scenarios. This will assess the economic role and value of the project on
freight traffic in the region. Task 1 findings will be incorporated into the
technical memorandum to estimate, to the extent possible, the value of
goods transportation using the current and future project roadways.
4) Accessibility - This will identify and characterize the existing barriers for
local individuals and communities to transportation, jobs, and business
opportunities. It will also identify the manner and extent that the project
proactively addresses and reduces in the future.
5) Climate Change and Resiliency – This will characterize the extent to which
the project incorporates considerations of climate change in its planning and
project delivery. This will also provide a high-level assessment of the project
expected results in reduced transportation-related pollution (including GHG
emissions) and improve the resiliency of at-risk infrastructure.
6) Environmental Sustainability - This will characterize the extent to which the
project incorporates considerations of environmental sustainability in its
planning and project delivery. The assessment will also assess the project’s
inclusion/compliance with regional planning for sustainability (i.e., Climate
Action Plans) and for transportation (Transportation Improvement Plans).
This will also provide a high-level assessment of the project expected
results in reduced transportation-related environmental impacts.
7) Public Health – This will characterize how the Project reduces exposure to
pollutants and supports active modes of travel such as walking and
bicycling.
c) Support Benefit-Cost Analysis – Consultant will support the benefit-cost analysis (be
completed by others) by customizing the Task 1 results and providing coordination
and interpretation.
d) Illustrative Graphics – Consultant will prepare maps, figures, and infographics for the
application, utilizing existing Project graphics for incorporation into the application.
Potential graphics may include maps showing the existing layout and future
improvements, congestion, and safety “hotspots,” and principal routes of travel use.
Assumptions/exclusions:
These services are focused on support for a TCEP grant funding opportunity. As
such this scope and budget is based current TCEP Guidelines. Scope and budget
modifications may be necessary if the specific grant notice includes new or revised
guidance and/or requirements.
Deliverables will include:
Draft and final grant application narratives
Brief technical memorandums summarizing the approach and findings of the
individual issue assessments identified in Task 3 b). The technical memorandums
will be suitable for potential inclusion as attachments to the grant application.
Infographics as needed.
ATTY/AGR.2022/Amend No. 5/AECOM (US 101/84 PS&E) (Page 8 of 13)
