Exclusions — Any other services not specifically listed will be considered additional work for <br />which a separate scope, fee and schedule will be prepared. <br />3.0 DETAILED SCOPE OF WORK <br />The Detailed Scope of Work is divided into seven tasks, numbered 1 through 7, which are <br />summarized below. Submittals will be made in the number and type specified in the Caltrans <br />RTL Guide, and where applicable, the OSFP Information and Procedures Guide. <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />TASK I <br />Project Management <br />TASK 2 <br />PS&E Support <br />TASK 3 <br />65% PS&E Phase <br />TASK 4 <br />95% PS&E Phase <br />TASK 5 <br />100% PS&E Phase <br />TASK 6 <br />Final PS&E Phase (Caltrans District 4 and HQ Review) <br />TASK 7 <br />Right of Way Support <br />A detailed description of these tasks, subtasks and list of deliverables are presented below. <br />TASK 1 PROJECT MANAGEMENT <br />AECOM will provide project management services for each task for the duration of the Project <br />(Assumed to be 29 months). Management activities will consist of administration, coordination, <br />attending meetings, scheduling and quality control as stated in the following paragraphs. The <br />scope includes the preparation of a project management plan for the project. This project <br />management plan defines the roles and responsibilities of team members including <br />subconsultants and subcontractors, task scopes, budgets, schedules, communications, and project <br />staff contact information. The project management plan is organized into the following main <br />sections: (1) Project Initiation, (2) Planning, (3) Executing, (4) Controlling and Monitoring, and <br />(5) Closing. <br />Task 1.1 Project Administration <br />AECOM will supervise, coordinate and monitor planning and design for conformance with <br />Caltrans' standards and policies. This will include contract administration; subcontract <br />procurement & management; task, schedule & cost monitoring; management of the project <br />management plan; and weekly staff coordination. AECOM will submit project deliverables to <br />City and/or Caltrans for review. <br />Task 1.2 Scheduling <br />AECOM will prepare and maintain a detailed Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule for the <br />project, in consultation with City and Caltrans.
