REV: 05-21-24 VR <br />Task 4.6 Quantities and Cost Estimate <br />Consultant will update the Construction Quantities and Estimate submitted in the previous <br />95% PS&E submittal. Consultant will submit quantity calculations showing all sketches, <br />diagrams and dimensions necessary for their use by field inspectors. <br />Task 4.7 Construction Schedule <br />Consultant will update the Construction Schedule submitted in the previous 95% PS&E <br />submittal and will notify Caltrans and the City of any difference between the update and <br />the previous version. <br />Consultant will coordinate highway and structure construction schedule information to <br />prepare the Project Construction Schedule. <br /> <br />Task 4.8 Draft PS&E Forms <br />Consultant will update the Draft PS&E Forms submitted in the previous 95% PS&E <br />submittal and complete the documents for final review. Consultant will also update the <br />following Draft Forms: <br />Quality Control Certification of First Submittal to District Office Engineer (DOE) <br />First Submittal to DOE Checklist <br />Task 4.9 QC Review <br />Consultant will perform an in-house Final 95% PS&E Quality Control review. <br />Task 4.10 Independent Design Check - Structures <br />An updated independent check of the bridge structures and non-standard retaining walls <br />utilizing the unchecked details (65%), the new seismic design criteria (SDC 2.0), revisions <br />to the design code, updates to Caltrans design manuals, updates to the Caltrans <br />Standard Plans, the Foundation Reports and other pertinent reports and information will <br />be performed. An independent set of checker's calculations to verify the design of all the <br />plan details will be developed. The checker will be responsible for developing an <br />independent set of quantity calculations. <br />Check calculations shall include analysis and computations that are necessary to <br />independently check all aspects of the design shown on the unchecked details. Results <br />from the check calculations shall be compared with the design. Discrepancies shall be <br />resolved between the designer and checker and the resolutions documented in the <br />calculations. <br />95% PS&E Deliverables will include: <br />Design Standard Decision Document <br />ATTY/AGR.2024/Amend.
