Construction Sequence and Other Requirements — This will include recommendations for <br />construction sequence and other detailed information for incorporation into the plans, <br />including contractor requirements. <br />Foundation Report Input— The above findings will be incorporated into the seven Foundation <br />Reports for the Project and submitted to Caltrans for review. <br />Resolve Caltrans Comments — This will include resolving Caltrans comments on the CDSM <br />portion of the Foundation Reports for eventual approval. <br />4.2.5 Highway Design Plan Sheets —The following plan sheets will be developed or modified <br />to incorporate CDSM in the 95% submittal and refined at subsequent stages up to Ready To List <br />(RTL). <br />Construction Details (Soil Treatment Plans) — Construction Detail CDSM Plan Sheets will be <br />developed to indicate the treatment locations, patterns and depths. This will include a total <br />of nine Soil Treatment Plan sheets. <br />• Construction Details (Soil Treatment Details) — Construction Detail CDSM Detail Sheets will <br />be developed to indicate the details of each type of treatment (patterns and depths). It is also <br />anticipated that Construction Detail Sheets for lightweight fill will be needed for fringe or <br />conform areas where CDSM may not be appropriate. This will include a total of three Soil <br />Treatment Detail sheets. <br />• Stage Construction — CDSM construction activities will be incorporated into the Stage <br />Construction Plans. <br />• Traffic Handlinq — CDSM construction activities will be incorporated into the Traffic Handling <br />Plans. <br />4.3 Specifications and Special Provisions — Specifications for the CDSM and potential <br />lightweight fill will be developed and incorporated into the PS&E package at the 95% submittal <br />stage and refined at subsequent stages up to RTL. <br />4.6 Quantities and Cost Estimate — Quantities and Costs for the CDSM and potential <br />lightweight fill will be developed and incorporated into the PS&E package at the 95% submittal <br />stage and refined at subsequent stages up to RTL. <br />5.1 Plans, Specifications and Estimates — CDSM activities will be incorporated into the <br />plans, specifications, and estimates at the 95% submittal stage and refined at subsequent stages <br />up to RTL. CDSM activities will also be incorporated into the Construction Schedule. <br />5.4 Environmental Revalidation — CDSM will be added to the environmental revalidation <br />documents and included in those efforts for approval by Caltrans. <br />Cement Deep Soil Mix (CDSM) Design Deliverables: <br />• Updated Foundation Reports <br />• Construction Detail Plan Sheets (12 total) <br />• Updated Stage Construction Plan Sheets <br />• Updated Traffic Handling Plan Sheets <br />• Updated Specifications <br />• Updated Quantities and Cost Estimate <br />• Updated Environmental Revalidation <br />These will all be completed at the 95% submittal stage and subsequent stages up to RTL. <br />ATTY/AGR/2019/AMENDMENTS/AMEND NO.2—AECOM 101/84 PS&E <br />REV: 07-03-19 DZ <br />Page 8 of 13 <br />
