W. Riley and Sons, Inc.'s failure to comply with the terms of the City of <br />Redwood City's contract specifications, and in particular Section 00510 of the Contract <br />Documents, NOTICE OF AWARD for the above-entitled project (which was mailed to <br />your offices on or about September 14, 2004, a copy of which is attached), you are <br />advised that the City of Redwood City declares your bid to have been abandoned, annuls <br />the Notice of Award dated September 14,2004. and declares your Bid Security (Bond <br />Number B802282 in the amount of $27,950) to be forfeited. A copy of this notice is being <br />sent to your surety, Financial Pacific Insurance Company, providing notice that said Bid <br />Security is forfeited. <br />The failure to comply with the terms of the contract specifications is based upon the <br />following sections in the 2004-2005 Cost Shared Sidewalk Repair Project Contract <br />Documents, Section 00200, Instructions to Bidders, Section 1.17 A, Post-Notice Of <br />Award: <br />1. You have not executed and.àelivered the following documents required by the <br />specifications: <br />a. signed Agreement (Document 00500) <br />b.
