<br />16.5 Call-Back <br /> Workers who are called back after leaving work at the end of the normal working <br /> day shall be credited with no less than two (2) hours at the overtime rate. <br />16.6 Call Out in Parks Department <br /> The opportunity for call-outs in the Parks Department shall be equitably <br /> distributed and rotated by management among the members of the work unit <br /> qualified under standards set in Title 8 California Administrative Code Sections <br /> 3420 et seq. (Article 12). <br />16.7 Work Schedule <br /> All work schedule arrangements presently in effect shall continue. If the City <br /> proposes to change the work schedule of a classification, the Union shall be <br /> notified at least ten (10) working days in advance of the proposed change and <br /> given an opportunity to meet and confer regarding the impact of any proposed <br /> change in hours or days of work prior to implementation. <br />16.8 Rest Periods after Extended Shift <br /> 16.8.1 A worker who works more than fourteen (14) consecutive hours <br /> during a twenty-four (24) hour period shall be entitled to receive an <br /> eight (8) hour rest period before returning to duty. Such rest period <br /> shall commence when the worker goes off duty. <br /> 16.8.2 Should the eight (8) hour rest period extend beyond the starting <br /> time of the worker's regular shift, the worker shall be required to <br /> work only the remainder of that shift but shall be compensated as <br /> though he/she had worked the entire shift. <br /> 16.8.3 Should a worker who has worked more than fourteen (14) <br /> consecutive hours in a twenty-four (24) hour period be required to <br /> return to duty prior to completion of the eight (8) hour rest period, <br /> that worker shall be compensated at one and one-half (1-1/2) times <br /> his/her regular rate of pay for the time remaining in the rest period. <br /> ARTICLE 17 - UNIFORM ALLOWANCE <br />17.1 The City shall provide reimbursement up to Four Hundred Dollars ($400.00) per <br /> year to workers who, as a condition of employment, are required to wear a <br /> uniform. Community Service Officers and Fire Prevention Officers required to <br /> 25 <br />
