identification of sewer section by upstream and downstream manhole locations, and footage shall <br />be displayed on the video data view at all times. <br />MPEG -4 videos, pictures and databases must be submitted on external 1 TB (Terabyte) portable <br />external hard drive. If a video and/or the capture images in the database do not clearly show the <br />pipe conditions due to an inadequate amount of light or are of such poor quality that the Engineer <br />is unable to evaluate the condition of the sewer or locate sewer service connections, the <br />CONTRACTOR shall re -televise that section of the pipe at CONTRACTOR'S expense. <br />Traffic Control <br />The CONTRACTOR shall be solely responsible for traffic control. As a minimum, placement of <br />adequate pre -warning and detour signs to control vehicular and pedestrian traffic shall be <br />required. Certain arterial or commercial district streets may require night work as further <br />described below. <br />CONTRACTOR shall adhere to the California Manual of Traffic Control Devices (CA MUTCD) <br />for traffic control. All CONTRACTOR 'S trucks shall have an arrow board and beacons as well <br />as a full set of cones, candle sticks, and "People Working" signs and tripods that shall be used to <br />provide safety for both employees and the general public. <br />Confined Spaces <br />If entry to confined spaces is necessary, the CONTRACTOR shall follow all appropriate local, <br />state, and federal laws pertaining to confined space entries. Sanitary sewer manholes are <br />considered confined spaces. Specific attention is directed also to OSHA safety rules, regulations <br />and precautions to be taken by the Contractor before entering sanitary sewer manholes, and other <br />sanitation structures with respect to physical and chemical hazards that may be present. <br />Night Work <br />If flow and/or traffic are an issue for CONTRACTOR to complete a segment, arrangements will <br />be made with City to work at night. CONTRACTOR shall provide businesses/residences 48 <br />hours prior notice of any potentially disruptive activity. Additional compensation for night work <br />will not be paid by the City. <br />DELIVERABLES: <br />Deliverables shall include CCTV inspection videos, pictures and databases in an external <br />hard drive as mentioned herein; manhole inspection reports; printed CCTV inspection <br />reports; summary of CCTV inspection reports in excel format (see details below), color <br />coded sewer basin site maps (see details below); MP4 format color video. <br />2.
