In the course of routine patrols, as time permits, Consultant shall collect litter found <br />along roadways, pathways and other areas used by the public and deposit in trash <br />receptacles. <br />5. Trail Hazards <br />Consultant shall be responsible for removing trail and pathway hazards (i.e. tree <br />limbs, broken glass, etc.) as can be removed with brooms and shovels. If hazard <br />cannot be removed within a reasonable time, trail users are to be warned of the hazard <br />by use of barricades, traffic cones, caution tape, or similar means. Consultant shall <br />notify City Parks Director, or on-call duty person for further assistance. <br />6. Fire and Accidents <br />In the event of fire or accident, Consultant shall immediately call City's Emergency <br />Communications (9-1-1) and then direct City's emergency personnel to site of fire or <br />accident and maintain public safety and assist as directed by City's emergency <br />officials. <br />After arrival of emergency personnel Consultant shall contact City's representative <br />with summary of emergency. <br />7. Reoortine of Maintenance Problems <br />Consultant shall promptly report to City any needed maintenance repairs that either <br />exceed Consultant's capabilities or are beyond the scope of tasks Consultant is to <br />provide under this Agreement. <br />C. Consultant's Additional Responsibilities <br />1. Consultant shall use staff trained in the methods and materials used to provide <br />consistent services under contract specifications. <br />2. Consultant shall furnish all labor, materials and supplies necessary to perform park <br />patrol services. Consultant's staff must be at least twenty (20) years of age. <br />Consultant's staff shall be licensed under the State of California Business and <br />Professional Code Section 7521. (Guard Card) <br />3. Consultant shall make sure that the staff carry proper identification documentation <br />and wear a company uniform with the appropriate company name, logo and/or <br />badge while performing services for City. <br />4. Consultant shall provide the City with names of each staff providing contract <br />services to the City. <br />5.
