Seven major <br /> tasks are defined to support the system selection and implementation process. <br /> <br /> 1. Project Kickoff <br /> <br /> 2. Requirements Definition <br /> <br /> 3. Project Implementation Strategy <br /> <br /> 4. RFP Development <br /> <br /> s. Vendor Selection <br /> <br /> 6. Detailed System Implementation Planning <br /> <br /> 7. System Implementation Support <br /> <br /> Psomas will assign Senior Consultants who have significant experience with <br /> automated permit systems and permitting, inspection, and code enforcement <br /> activities. Mr. Craig Gooch and Ms. Mary Tsui of Land Systems Group, a Psomas <br /> business partner, will serve as the principal consultants throughout the project. Mr. <br /> Gooch will be the primary contact with the city and will also serve as project <br /> manager. Other technical resources from Psomas may be used from time to time <br /> to evaluate issues pertaining to the technical computing environment or database <br /> related matters. <br /> <br />2.1. Project Kickoff <br /> The project kickoff will be conducted at the city with major stakeholders. The goal <br /> of the meeting is to review the project plan, major project goals, project schedule <br /> and responsibilities of the city and Psomas. <br /> <br /> Following the meeting, a detailed demonstration of the current permit system and <br /> walkthrough of the work areas for permitting and inspections will be performed. <br /> Psomas would like to obtain reference material such as standards, procedural <br /> manuals, or other documentation that may help gain an understanding of the <br /> current business practices associated with permitting and inspections. <br /> <br />Psomas March 20, 2001 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
