DAVE TANNER, TNN 7.A. - Page 211
Genera] Building & Landscape Contractor
3046 Woodside Road
Woodside, CA 94062
Phone 650.651.4918
Fax 650.851.5458
daveCadavetannerbuilds.com
5) The surrounding industrial uses would pose a wide-range of health
and safety risks including: toxic / hazardous and potentially explosive
materials that are stored, used and transported in this area.
6) The highly confined building and site would deprive young school
children of a play area and a safe outside emergency gathering area. Also,
most rooms with no windows to look out of.
7) The site is far too small to accommodate a standard school facility
and the industrial neighborhood is far too dangerous for young children.
8) The school would result in numerous significant environmental
impacts for which "no mitigation is reasonably achievable"
9) The City and County would be strapped with long-term moral safety,
public animosity and legal issues if this Project were to be approved and
for what issues they know now!
It is time to stop this project before anymore false hope is given to the
parents and children. Before more money is spent on something that
cannot be achieved without radical adaptation into an unsafe for children
neighborhood.
Please stop this project now, with prejudice, before a child is killed
or iniured. Before you cannot reverse your actions of changing a "light
commercially zoned nel hborhood" into a school zone.
Dave Tah-ner
Member of the "Redwood Village Business Association"
www.redwoodvillageBA.com
