19.1.4 For RCMEA members employed by the City who have <br />ten (10) years of service and retire under the City's retirement, the maximum <br />City contribution toward health plan coverage shall be equal to the percent of <br />premium paid for an active employee. <br />19.1.5 In the event there are any costs not charged to the City due to delays by <br />PERS and/or other administrative agencies in calculating or reporting these <br />costs, said costs shall be carried over and charged as administrative costs to the <br />following plan year and deducted from the aforementioned monthly dollar caps <br />accordingly. <br />19.1.6 The City shall establish in accordance with Section 125 of the IRS Code a <br />Cafeteria Plan establishing the following individual accounts for each active <br />employee <br />A. PERS Medical Premiums <br />B. Dependent Care <br />C. Health Care Reimbursement <br />19.1.7 For the period October 1, 1998 through September 30, 2001, the City's <br />maximum monthly contribution for each active full-time employee for the <br />aforementioned Cafeteria Plan shall be four hundred fifty dollars ($450.00) per <br />month per employee minus any costs incurred by the city to maintain said <br />Cafeteria Plan in compliance with IRS Code Section 125 and minus any costs <br />incurred by the City to maintain the PERS Health Benefit Plans in compliance <br />with Government code Section 22751, et. seq. Such costs include, but are not <br />limited to, surcharges and/or administrative fees. The actual maximum monthly <br />contribution per active employee, once these charges have been deducted, is <br />estimated to be $424.00. <br />Effective October 1, 2001 through December 31, 2001, the City will reimburse <br />the amount, if any, that is being deducted as a employee health premium <br />contribution up to a maximum of $509.75 for those employees who are enrolled, <br />as of October 1, 2001, in a health plan that results in an employee premium <br />contribution by payroll deduction. <br />For the period beginning January 1, 2002, the City's total maximum combined <br />contribution per full time eligible employee for the aforementioned PERS <br />Health Plan and Cafeteria Plan shall be equal to the amount of the Kaiser Family <br />premium. <br />19.1.8 The City will offer a health savings/cash option not to exceed $102.50 per <br />month. <br />
